HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
A $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female student athlete after meeting all criteria above has been accomplished and winner is chosen by Coach Frank Ortega Foundation board members.

HIGH SCHOOL ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
2.0 GPA
Varsity Student Athlete
2 Letters of Recommendation - 1 from faculty/staff member and 1 from community member
50 Community Service Hours (minimum)
1,000 words or less essay on why being a student athlete along with community involvement and volunteering is important.
Must plan to attend an institution of higher education or pursue a certification or proof of military commitment.

Little League Award winner will have entry fees paid for to play for the East Bay Buccaneers. One Cheerleader and One Football player will awarded this scholarship. Coach Frank Ortega Foundation board members will vote on who will be awarded the scholarship.

LITTLE LEAGUE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Written indication of financial hardship
Verification of registration with East Bay Buccaneers(EBB) and placement with a team
Parent/Guardian commitment to volunteer 5 hours of community service in direct relation to EBB
This will be full scholarship, to include registration fees and equipment cost
Scolarship valid for one full season with EBB
All registered players eligible
